How to apply for full-time ballet training

All potential students must audition for a place. Auditions are held in Birmingham on specified dates during the autumn and winter terms (audition dates for 2017 entry).

Registration and Audition Form
Full-time fees

Some auditions are undertaken overseas (audition dates for 2017 entry). Alternatively, arrangements can be made for overseas students to submit a prescribed audition videotape or DVD; download details of what is required here: Year 7 entry; Years 8-11 entry; Sixth Form entry. For September 2017 entry videotapes/DVDs should be received, along with the application form, by date to be confirmed when audition dates are announced. Please contact the Registrar for further information.

Students offered a place at Elmhurst, who have been resident in the UK for the previous three years, may be eligible for financial assistance through the DfES Music and Dance Scheme. This covers all, or a proportion of the fees, on a sliding scale based on parental income. British and other European students may be eligible for a Dance and Drama Award to defray the expenses of the Sixth Form three-year vocational course.

Please e-mail the Registrar, if you have any queries about the application process.

Correspondence relating to audition invitations will be carried out via e-mail.
