Lee Robinson began teaching at Elmhurst in 2005. He trained at the Bush Davies School, the English National Ballet School and the Royal Ballet School. He represented England in the Prix de Lausanne and also won the Phyllis Bedells Award and the Marjorie Davies Award. He danced with English National Ballet, becoming a Soloist and dancing soloist roles in ballets including Swan Lake, The Sleeping Beauty, Giselle, Romeo and Juliet, Cinderella, Onegin, Coppélia, Alice in Wonderland, The
Nutcracker, Raymonda, Napoli, Land, Night
Creature, Who Cares, Square Dance, Perpetuum mobile and Country Garden.
After completing the RAD Professional Dancers' Teaching Diploma, he taught at the Hammond School for three years before joining Elmhurst. He has also choreographed many pieces for Elmhurst, including a piece for Elmhurst students performing at Birmingham Royal Ballet's 2012 Evening of Music and Dance at Birmingham's Symphony Hall.
