My daughter said it was the best Summer School she has ever done. She has come home feeling very enthusiastic about her dancing. More importantly, she seems to have regained her confidence in her dancing ability.

My daughter thoroughly enjoyed the Summer School and loved Elmhurst. This course has reinforced her ambition of attending vocational school at the age of 16 – especially Elmhurst – she has fallen in love with the school. She spoke very highly of the quality of teaching and has felt very honoured to work with the Birmingham Royal Ballet professionals. This is the first time that X had been away without the support of friends and family and so there were ‘first day nerves’ and reservations on arrival at Elmhurst. However, these were quickly banished and X has clearly been happy and fully engaged throughout the week. X is now more motivated than ever to continue dancing and we would be very pleased to receive details of how X could apply to join Elmhurst full-time in Year 12 (September 2011). This was a highly organised Summer School that made my daughter’s summer. The level of teaching was excellent and pastoral care also very high. We would definitely apply again to attend another one.
