Elmhurst Ballet School is a highly successful vocational school training young people in classical ballet with an association with Birmingham Royal Ballet. Elmhurst was judged by ISI to be Excellent in all areas and ‘exceptional’ in ballet. 

The school is seeking to recruit a full-time Houseparent to start September 2018. The Houseparent will lead and manage a Boarding House supported by an Assistant Houseparent, working under the direction of a member of the pastoral middle leadership team. 

Applicants should have proven leadership, excellent organisational skills and experience of working in a boarding environment.  We are looking for a highly motivated person who is calm and professional and is willing to be involved in all aspects of the school work. Applications from those offering skills that relate to the vocational dance environment and a holistic educational ethos are most welcome. This role offers an attractive remuneration package and high quality furnished accommodation.
