HRH Duchess of Cornwall visits Elmhurst
On Tuesday 25th November 2014.HRH The Duchess of Cornwall, Patron, Elmhurst School for Dance, visited the school to mark its 10th anniversary celebration of being based in Birmingham, HRH toured the school, including the student allotment and heard plans for a new, state of the art Health and Wellbeing Centre which will be built over the coming months.
The Duchess then watched a short performance by students prior to meeting guests including parents of students and Supporters at a reception. Over 100 parents attended the event and a group of parents shared their experiences of having children at the School. Olympic Ice Skater, Robin Cousins also attended the event along with many funders, donors and
supporters. In an impromptu speech HRH commented on her pride at being patron of the school and also on the politeness, discipline and behaviour of the student body.
